I could bring my jonboat with grill and firewood, maybe even transport some drinks for us.

I’m game, just have to clean out the 10lbs of mud after recently loosing it off my dock for 2 weeks. I’ve been catching a bunch of reds on the other side of trunkards. I can bring my boat along to tow to better places if interested. I’ll stay tuned for details.

No takers on minnows, bottom or float rig, and only those 2 bites on grub.

My sons, ages 32 and 30, and I are planning a fishing/camping/kayak trip for this spring before the bugs and heat get too bad. Is Capers Island considered the best place to camp? Any suggestions.
