Charleston In Water Boat Show

I must admit that I did not attend last years in-water boat show. In years past the show had been much less than spectacular and I thought it would be much of the same even though it had a new location and new promoter. After talking to many people that asked why CharlestonFishing.Com did not have a booth at the show I began to realize we probably missed out on a great opportunity. All of the people that I was speaking to said it was a great show and they enjoyed the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Spring weather while looking at some great boats. I began to talk to some of our sponsors that were on the ball and set up booths at the show and they also raved about what a great show it was and how much everyone enjoyed themselves. Needless to say, we will have a booth at this year’s show!

Show Director Jamie O’Brien tells us that this year’s show will feature over 100 boats on the water and over 100 exhibits on the land as well. There will be seminars and other activities to provide fun for the whole family. The show will be held at Brittle Bank Park again this year and will be 3 days April 11-13th. The hours are Friday (Noon-7:00pm), Saturday (10am-6pm), and Sunday (10am-6pm). There will also be an auction on Friday evening from 7-10pm. For more information about the show see their website at http://www.scmarine.org and click on in water boat show. We hope to see everyone there.
