These were some fish tacos we made. They were grilled halibut with chopped cilantro and diced japaleno pressed into them and a squeeze of lime when they were on the grill. We also made a fresh salsa with mango and pear, red onion, etc. Pretty awesome!

My wife makes a pretty mean fish taco at the River Room in Georgetown if you are ever north of Charleston. I’m the exec there and cut the grouper for her, shes one of the chefs at lunch. She uses a roasted red pepper aoili that is pretty ■■■■ good. Check it out if you are ever up north:smiley:

Hey PeaPod, it is a fancy name for a mayo sauce with more olive oil, garlic,and lemon juice. I think its more Itailian influenced…If you cared, anyway come visit up north anyway.

For good burgers AND fish tacos at the same place I would go to Poes on Sullivans Island. Pro tip for you is to order 3 of the tacos and take the insides of one and it to the others. My favorite Burger there is the Annabell Lee, Its a burger topped with a crab cake. One of these days I will try the Tell-tale heart which is a fried egg on top of the burger.

Last time I had a burger at Poe’s…I did have the Tell-Tale Heart Fried Egg, Applewood Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Burger. It was fantastic. I’d definitely order it again. Would love to try making it at home next time the grill fires up for burgers…
