Starting the weekend off right. Took the day off and went after the tails in the 5.7 this morning. Reds were eating good, but lots of water in the mid tide. Incoming and falling were TDF.*
I even had a Fritz sighting!!! He blew by me at about 45 mph and never noticed me. How exciting!!! Woo Hoo!!
On the falling, I managed to turn 20 fiddlers into 6 sheepshead, all between 10-12". No keepers, but a good time nonetheless. Missed a grown fish too. The sheeps are starting to bite well for me now.
On the way back home, I ran into Mr Osprey and he was willing to sit for a picture or two.
Awesome pics as always. Much better luck than me. I put in at Leeds @ 4:45am and tried to hit the creeks but the early morning showers ran me back to the landing since all my rain jackets were in the other boat. Two topwater strikes but no hook ups.

I’m assuming you didn’t catch the sheeps on the flats but…you got any tips on catching sheepshead on the flats? I see em every now & again but have yet to make one eat…couple tosses & then they spook off, kinda like most of the redfish i find! lol
Fiddler on an unweighted hook. Small crab or shrimp patten with the flyrod. Only plan on catching about 1 out of 10 sight fishing.
