Chicken Ritual?

Got back to Dawhoo this afternoon and thought someone was trying to put a curse on me. This chicken was strung across the dock. Never seen anything like this before. Voodoo? Clemson fan?

A real chicken? Or a rubber one?

Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…

Posting on a message board all the time doesn’t make you smart. Frankly, it just means you probably need to get a life.

Only in Edisto

It looked real to me. Not many people there when I put in just a few duck hunters. There was a fella parked in the ‘make ready’ lane that was fishing off the dock. He seemed a little miffed when I backed down his side of the dock and he had to pull in all his crab lines and fishing lines.

I always load and unload the boat by myself so I always put in on the down current side. It keeps the boat from going up against the dock while I’m with the truck. The down current side is also the side the dock fishermen prefer and don’t seem to understand when you start backing down on their side and not the other side that is free of fishing lines. Didn’t know if he was into Voodoo.

Hope to make a fish sacrifice today to counteract the chicken curse just in case.

Or maybe it was some Clemson fans getting ready for the big game.

If you ain’t hooked, you ain’t doing it right.
