choke at the Brice???

I know it doesn’t sound as good. But hey nothing sounds good out of Columbia. The west owns this town.

That was down right pitiful. Carolina loses to Mizzou who loses to Indiana who gets embarrassed by Maryland. Go figure. Guess Spurrier was right in his comments last week.

Thread title hits it on the head. If Busta Anderson catches the lob pass for the TD , game over. Defense was WAY better. My deceased grandmother could have caught the pass that Busta Anderson dropped. Had to settle for 3 instead of the TD. No game ball for him. Both TE’s dropped passes and false started a few times. Spurrier mentioned the special teams coach also coaches the TE’s. Someone needs replaced.

Offense put out their worst product of the season. Bad night to do that

Busta is dang near 7 feet tall with no one covering him and the ball came in at his feet. I don’t think that one was on him.

How about the other scramble in the 3rd quarter on 3rd down, he throws it to Cooper who’d gotten behind the defenders… but out of bounds, when if he’d thrown inside, on the field of play, it’s complete and possibly a TD?

Does Carolina have a back up QB other than Cooper? I just hope the ESPN announcers quit saying Thomson can’t run like Shaw but throws better… my big ole chaffed butt!

At least I was able to witness what may become the highlight of our season this year.

The Spaceship Has Landed.:face_with_head_bandage:

yeah that was a choke. Don’t worry cock fans the tigers know how it feels.

As Raddaddy said…Missouri lost to Indy who lost to MD. The SEC East is like an ACC division.

I don’t understand the play calling on the second to last possession. The possession before was the Gamecocks best of the night and then you come out with Mike Davis in the wildcat on 1st down? Nobody thinks he is throwing. Why not like up and at least give the defense the threat of a pass that they have to honor.

Excuses, excuses, Sakkerliner got beat. There’s a few more on the schedule. I’d get use to it. Auburn could be downright comical.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I can do better than that.
Clemson lost to UGA who lost USC who lost to missou who lost to Indiana who gets embarrassed by Maryland.
What’s your point…

For someone that "honestly doesn't care" you sure spend a lot of time letting us know that.

And by the way, Maryland has a better record than both SC teams…

I agree. Bad call. He is a great rb but he is not cooper.
The timeouts on the goal line were silly. Why not use the 1 timeout left to make sure the offense is on the same page when it was 4th and game.
I personally think OBC got out coached.

Another excuse* is we should have tried the 2 point conversion on the last touchdown. 20-7 only allowed us to lose the game. 21-20. What a difference walking out of the stadium last night versus 2 weeks ago.

Salty,
I did not see one excuse in this thread, just dissapointed by that Busta could not catch a very simple pass that hit his hands and the rest about some poor play calls during the game. One a side note, I will be suorised if Whammy makes it past this season as DC.

Andy, he “honestly doesn’t care” so you are wasting your time responding to him.

Sure didn’t see that coming. I left the game in the 4th right before the tide turned to beat the crowd. Got back home a few miles away and turned on to watch another game and was floored. Really thought they had that one in the bag. At least fans didn’t throw stuff on the field this time. That was a tough loss.

So a better record than your team means total collapse.

My tix were right above where the Gamecocks run out to 2001. That was botched with two false starts and wound up an awkward entrace. Hated that because my brother from Savannah, who is a big Gamecock fan, came up for the game and was pumped about our seats for the entrance.
