did anyone else go? that was some of the laziest ball playing i’ve seen by the gamecocks, ever… Did english miss a pop fly? i wasn’t in my seat but someone told me he did… Citadel should have left in the starter, he had several k’s in the first few innings. Bats finally woke up but the defense never did, left at top of the 7th to get some sleep, but that was embarrassing for all the carolina fans that showed up.
I was there. Sat behind home plate. The Cocks looked like they didn’t give a crap about what was going on. They played sloppy and without much effort. I think they gave the Citadel 3 or 4 runs just on bases loaded walks. T. English never saw the pop fly and it hit 10 feet behind him. That was with 2 outs and el cid scored 2 runs on that play. The only positive was watching Charleston’s own Brison Celek hit a home run about 420 feet. He crushed that ball.
