What’s interesting is his mother posted a comment below the article correcting the reporter. Goes to show you, these recruits are reading anything and everything that is posted about them.

I guess the last visit is better than no visit, or not the last visit. I hate the hole drama thing
No visit means no chance I think. Since he came in April unannounced and didn’t get the full tour. He had only one left, and he was always leaning to Michigan. The fact he is coming to give Clemson a shot just a few days before NSD means we have a good chance. He has family close by, but has friends in Michigan. I think his mom is really running the show, and is pressuring him to go to Clemson. Drama for sure.
However, we still have 3-4 other big flips we are trying to make to finish out the class. Isaiah Simmons, Trayvon Mullen, Rashan Gary, Romeo Finley, Lavert Hill, and John Simpson. We are already ranked 8 with only 15 commits. 5 more 4*-5* and we are top 3 no doubt.
NSD could be huge for Clemson.

I don’t get the obsessing over these individual kids. I like to look at the rankings and see where Clemson is from time to time but, don’t put a ton of stock in the decision making of an 18yo kid. If he signs great, if not Clemson will get another good one. I just assume that the Tigers are going to be pretty highly ranked in recruiting these days.
I do/did get a laugh when there’s a decootment by a superstar. Seems to have slowed down though, guess that happens when 3 star kids are considered huge and 2 stars the norm.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

So Salty, you are saying you wouldn’t have cared if Clemson didn’t pick up Watson, or Spiller, or Watkins back in the day, and Clemson would have just found another star?
I get it if you aren’t into recruiting, but there is nothing wrong with following the rise of young stars. I wouldn’t call that obsession.
If I didn’t follow recruiting at least a little bit, then my son wouldn’t have had the opportunity to play ball with Watson when he first got on campus, as most parents that day didn’t even know who he was. I did, and my son has a great memory of playing touch ball with Watson and Gallman before they were on the cover of SI.

I think it gets borderline creepy when people start obsessing over the coming and goings of a high school kid. I swear before long you’ll hear some of the real fans, “I’ve been followin that boy since peewee Bo!”
I knew who they were but, I didn’t lose sleep over them signing. I trust Dabo and the staff to do that job. I’m not going nuts over one of them until he’s in orange and producing on the field though.

Didn’t Robert Nkemdiche say he was coming to Clemson & on signing day he signed with Ole Miss? Saying one thing & signing that paper are 2 different things.

What does Nkemdumbass that falls out of a window have to do with Gary visiting Clemson? Last I heard Gary hasn’t declared that he was going anywhere. So what he does on signing day will be his first word on the matter.
