Tech will be tough. If we leave the short routes open like we did for ND it will get real ugly, real fast.
I haven’t seen our boys defend against an option offense this year. Of course, I was in Spain for the first 3 games of the season, so I might have missed a few things.
Our defense will be just fine. I worry about their defense playing with their hair on fire against our offense. Then again the game is in Clemson, so it’ll probably be a blowout. If it was in Atlanta I’d be nervous.
It is fair to put them on Alert only because it is that stupid triple option. I think CU wins big. But you never know which GT team shows up. hate that offense.
Clemson is going to stomp a mudhole in GT this weekend. The offense will be firing on all cylinders and the defense will scheme to stop the option. GT scored 10pts on offense last year driving the ball, the other 17 came off of TO’s, 2 pick 6’s and a FG after their offense failed to move the ball. Venables will have the game planned out. Unless Watson has another freak injury against the Jackets, he’ll light them up.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

The trap game is NCSt. In Raleigh on Halloween night, Clemson normally plays terribly in Raleigh for some reason.
Miami isn’t a trap game, those guys have just about quit on Golden. That Cincy loss was tough to take.

If they want to keep gaining national respect the offense needs to put big points up. This game doesn’t need to be another squeaker against a (supposedly) good team with a bad record.
Been reading boards and such all morning. Too much focus still being put on the ND game. It was great and exciting, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that CU isn’t spending too much time feeling good about ND and not looking at GT
