I don’t this kid/ I know nothing about him or the situation. But I have a question. Does the University have a say in whether he transfers or not?
No, the school has no say so whatsoever.
If he goes to another big boy school, he has to sit out for a year, NCAA rules.
It didn’t say where he was planning on going, but I’m sure the coaching staff sat his down and explained the rules.

He lost the starting job to a younger guy so probably saw the writing on the wall. Does hurt out depth though we now only gave 1 other experienced left guard behind the starter joe gore.
I thought I had heard last year that a school agreed to release a student athlete. as if he need permission.
He needs permission to attend a school in the same conference. Otherwise he can leave
Ah, thanks shevlin
Wish him nothing but the best for his future.
My twin daughters are rising seniors this year…one at South Carolina and one at App State…
We must remember that these kids are still very young in the grand scheme of things and we must just give them the tools for them to prosper…
They are our future…
Same here, wish him the best of luck where ever he decides to go…
