I probably was in the minority but I assumed it was a Clemson fan who was not affiliated with Clemson (not in school). The fact that a piece of the rock was missing made me think that. Why steal a piece if you were a USC or UGA fan or whatever. If you were in school or were alumni you would understand the important of that rock and would not have done that.
Feel bad for his parents as his dad supposedly is an alum and huge fan.
Wonder what they will do with missing piece if they recover it.

How would you put a price on something like a rock? I don’t get it.
To some, the rock is worthless, to others its priceless…
For fathers day my daughter gave me a rock that is shaped like the state. She painted it garnet/black and wrote “My Dad Rocks” on it.
It is priceless to me. And worthless to others…
