Opened up at CU -12. Much bigger than what I thought.
Yeah, holy crap! I guess Vegas is tired of losing money on the Tigers.

I think a lot of CU fans have the last few years on their minds when they think about FSU and it worries them. FSU has talent all over the field but they aren’t nearly as good as the past few years. They might come in there in whip Clemson’s ass like a few years back but I doubt it. Something tells me this Tiger team comes out and plays a complete game and makes a statement with a convincing win over FSU.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Clemson isn’t the question mark; FSU is. This spread doesn’t surprise me at all watching what I’ve watched this year. What’s the status on the FSU QB situation? Isn’t that stud running back that Dabo said was better than Fournette out too? Or is he coming back for this game?
Ricky,
What are you running in the spread, you’ve got at least 2 on and a couple more chasing the baits
Boat drinks, Waitress I need 2 more boat drinks!

Word this AM that I read was both Cook and Golsen would play. Golsen doesn’t bother me as much as a healthy Cook does, he’s tough and explosive. Golsen gets happy feet and erratic under pressure.

ESPNU Championship Drive guys are giving Clemson mad props and respect tonight. Man I hope we don’t play flat Saturday.
I kept waiting for the “they play in the ACC” argument that one of the founding 3 Amigas hangs his hat on…never happened.

Big bait= Big fish
Personally, I’m glad State played CU hard and humbled the defense a bit. If they would have held State like they did Miami, I bet it would just be a show up against FSU and win mentality. I bet the focus and effort will be xtra good this week, as it should be.
2x as much as I thought they would open it at.
Probably because they know FSU’s oline is young and just not very good…while our D line is dominant.
We are going to crush whomever their QB is on Saturday.

Exactly! I just hope the kick off coverage team is rearranged by Saturday.

I have never seen the stupid style kick coverage we have this year in all my life. It’s squib or deep left every time. The coverage has all their lanes between the right numbers and left sideline and bunched together so it’s easier for people to get jammed up. If the right two lanes get jammed up, then almost the whole right half of the field is wide open. It’s like a gimme for the kickoff return to know how to block the return.
Absolutely stupid, I tell you…
Line up across the field and kick for hang time alternating from left 0 to right 0. If they have a good return guy, hit the goal post. Not that hard unless you overcomplicate it and then let the other team know you do one of 2 kicks each and every kickoff.
Watch the BC game if you want to know what anybody else with half-decent special teams will do to us all game…
Our defense gets put in the worst positions I’ve seen Clemson do to itself in years, and the fact that the defense still holds somehow more often than not is amazing.

That was Bobby Bowden logic his last few years coaching. When the reporter would as why they lost the game that’s what BB would say, well, they scored more points than us.
KISS i guess

I’m not sure we have that ability, and surely not consistantly.
Let Lapcoke toot up before the game and he’ll kick it out of the endzone.

I’d much rather it be a line drive out of the back of the endzone and let our defense take over from the 25. I’ll never understand the idea of kick it high and let the guy catch it at the 8 with blockers ready and your whole dam kick coverage team 15 yards away from him or less. It’s kind of like sending an all out blitz on 1st down. All they need is one little crease and there’s nobody back there to stop it if they get past the first wave.
