Listening to ESPN radio. Heard Dabo’s press conference from yesterday. He sure does not sound very confident in his team. Mike and Mike were talking about how great the UNC defense is and they thought UNC could pull the upset. In that scenario they said UNC would not make the final 4 and Stanford would. No respect. No respect , at all.

That the first one of his pressers you caught this year? He doesn’t ever say negative things about his opponents in the press conference. UNC could very well pull the upset. In fact, I’m surprised with all the talk about them they aren’t favored. Clemson probably shouldn’t show up.

If you ever listen to shows like Mike and Mike talk about a team you are really familiar with you begin to realize their knowledge is very limited about the team as a whole. Half the time the commentators that do your own team’s games on television have a very limited knowledge of the team. It is kind of like listening to Salty talk about South Carolina’s team. I think Clemson should win this thing handily, but that is why they play the games. I assure you Dabo does not lack confidence and will say all of the coach speak stuff you normally hear before he faces an opponent.

I know plenty about Sakkerliner’s team. Coach Quit spurriered after failing to do his job, burned the program to the ground so someone coming in would have to start over, they’re 3-9 and considered the worst Power 5 team this year, they have two great players in Cooper and Moore but not much else. Beyond that, there really isn’t a whole lot that one needs to know right now.
Oh, I forgot, they’re either giving Elliot the job or getting turned down by big/hot names a lot.

To add to Andy’s post, ESPN has the hype train running full tilt about what happens IF UNC beats Clemson. Its all about ratings, and since they are the prime time matchup this Saturday, they will keep it up until the game is over with. That’s been the #1 topic on shows like College Football Live all week.
