You neglected a needed comma after “starters”.

The period goes inside the quotations.

And apparently no one cares about clemson football enough to tell us if Clemson was lucky in that game or not. Imagine that.

No Fritz, Clemson wasn’t lucky. They outplayed ND on both sides of the ball.

There was some luck out there, they were playing Notre Dame for crying out loud.
This was not luck…
I guess the pope isn’t that powerful.

Do you think Clemson was lucky and if so, why?
There’s a little luck in every game. Nature of the beast. Looked to me like CU had some good and bad luck Saturday. If your defense causes a fumble is that considered luck? If the other team can’t run the ball on your D-Line, which forces them to pass in a hurricane and some wet balls get dropped, is that luck too?
I just thought it was a hard fought thrilling game.

Judging by how we’ve played the rest of the season so far, yes. Yes, we were lucky to get that victory. It’s going to be a long tough season for the gamecocks.

I think Clemson was lucky to get out there with a win, not lucky to win it. they started playing not to lose to early in the 4th. had they stay with the game plan it would not have been close.
Like I said in another post ND is not that good, they had not played a team with a winning record (except CU now, and they got beat). If you look at the body of work (resume) they would not have been in the top 25.
I suppose you’re right
Absolutely on ND being over rated per their year so far, but they have the players. It’s funny to me how there is still talk among the pundits on how ND will make the play-offs.

Agree with both of you. They have so much talent just not sold on Brian Kelly.
Case in point is why do you run the ball on the 2pt conversion when we stuffed the run all day? Our guys were so gassed in the 4th QT we could not get a pass rush. Maybe he thought we would be caught off guard?
edit to say why in the hell did he go for the 2pt conversion on after their first TD to start the 4th QT in the first place…

Those had to be tough words to type. I appreciate the candor.

quote:You do know that ND had about 200 more total yards on offense right? Not sure how you determined they outplayed them. And in another typical Clemson moment you have to ask about Carolina in a thread that is clearly not about them. And yes we got lucky in that game with the int's in the endzone.
