I’ll be the first to admit, their play surprised me. Front 7 on d looked really good most of the night. nd made a lot of mistakes though, 5 different receivers dropped balls of 15+. Sometime you need the stars to align just right in college football, in this case 15" of rain. Hats off to Dabo and crew, that was one worth dancing over. Best game I have watched this year!

man I do t know if my nerves can handle any more games like that. We will take the luck all day! By the way Scott dropped a TD in the end zone so it was all ND mistakes even though they had more.
Next time, with a little class, you could say, " Nice win for Clemu", or something along those lines. The back-handed excuses for ND make you look very small.
How many balls did Clemson drop? The lone TO was a ball the receiver normally in that position catches. Clemson won that game straight up. It didn’t quit raining and dry out when they had the ball, then start raining as soon as the ND offense hit the field. It’s OK to acknowledge the Tigers are a pretty good team and getting better. Come November, they’ll be coming to your house to show you how much better they are. The UGA game might be a fond memory for you afterwards.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I’m just curious why the “4th quarter and we have a lead” playbook only consists of run Gallman up the middle. I understand if you’re trying to bleed the clock, but then they need to snap the ball with like 1 second left on the playclock not 10-15.

Our offense doesn’t play as sharp when they switch to slow tempo and it was obvious Saturday night. The thing I don’t understand is why switch to bleed the clock mode. Keep your foot on the gas when you’ve got some momentum.
The D line was tired by the 4th quarter. Would like to see some more substitutions to give those guys a little break.
Nail on the head as Optiker stated. I don’t think CU is deep enough on the D line to substitute as they should. I hate the mentality of playing not to lose as opposed to burying your opponent. I hope they learn from that major mistake.

Clemson was lucky to win that game and the the fans that attended the game with me admitted it.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
Back to the days of old? What the hell are you talking about. I made a comment about how the people IN THE STADIUM WATCHING THE GAME IN PERSON felt and you come up with that?

I WAS IN THE STADIUM ALSO, BUD. No CU faithful around me thought CU was “lucky” to win. Your statement wreaks of a disgruntled coot with a mouthful of sour grapes.

Elliott said they wanted the ball in #4 and #9’s hands as much as possible with the conditions they were dealing with. The wheel route to Procise was a busted coverage. Clemson had plenty of opportunities to put the game out of reach and didn’t execute in those crappy conditions. Credit ND for fighting back but don’t call Clemson winning lucky, they ground it out all game.
If the Tigers lose one, it won’t be because they laid down and quit.
It’s going to be fun when they play a complete game without all the mistakes. They are missing Williams big time right now, Peake just doesn’t have it at that position.
