I don’t think it is a trap. What happened to the hard head catfish. No one cares but the idea is fish in the ocean are not endless.

From what I learned at BFDC, the state Gov. is well along on some kind of needed legislation. This effort is to get the
FEDS. on board. Something has to be done. The stock is in decline.

Coach, I’ve only been fishing twice this year inshore and have caught 5-6 hardheads. I haven’t caught any in years.
I agree that the inshore cobia fishery is way overfished. But I hope that the healthy offshore population doesn’t get restricted. Dnr has reiterated over and over that they are distinct different DNA fish.
