Fished from about 930-430. The bite was pretty dead except from about 930-10 and then we got this guy at 4. Had one other one break off and caught about a 6 foot shark in the morning. Both cobia on greenies . Didn’t weight the fish but he was 56 inches.

I was out there as well and saw you catch that one. Very nice fish. We only had one bite all day and it broke off. It was a rough day on the river.

It was a little rough, had my brother and his wife with me but they both handled it like champs, first time out for them both. My brother actually gaffed the fish. Nailed him on the first shot like a seasoned pro, couldn’t have been prouder. He was elated, said he liked gaffing them better than catching them.
Went back Saturday morning for a few hours, fished til about 11. Caught one short on a Greenie under a float. Saw the boat 30 yards beside us catch 2 in the boat.
Made some Cobia Po’boys on Sunday at the in laws.
