Any suggestions on warm, waterproof, slip resistant, non-marking footwear for the winter? I have waterproof boots that aren’t warm and duck boots that aren’t all that comfortable to wear all day. Thanks!
Same as what we wear shrimping. Comfortable enough for me to wear and cheap enough to toss when they get nasty.
Those rubber boots offer no insulation, which is what he’s after I believe…

In Alaska I would wear the short Shimano boots with one or two pairs of heavy wool socks. They worked great. Xtratuff recently came out with a short version that I would look at too.
Get you a pr. of Superior Boot Co. foam insulated rubber boots about $45.00. I have had Muck boots and these are much better and cheaper!
I bought mine in Hendersonville and had a buddy get some on the net. I ware mine winter time striper fishing and have never been cold or wet.
The soles on muck boots wear out quickly on nonskid decks
I’ve tried most of the boots out there. I now do what most of the alaska guys do.
Tuff boots (the shorter ones) with good arch supports inserts ($25 ones), a pair of regular socks and a pair of long wool socks over that.
You have to buy the boots a size larger to make this work.
One other thing that works is if you have a pair of freshwater hip waders that you can cut off a little above the ankle some of them are very comfortable.
Thanks for the suggestions.
