I saw that, His main point was that ESPN has overrated him up to superhuman status. Its not really a knock on Clowney as much as it was a knock on the hype surrounding him.

Watch the UNC game again. How many plays were ran to his side. How many people were blocking him. How many QB hurries did he have? He didnt have a huge stat game…but…he made UNC change the way they play offense.I hope the Cowturd’s comment lights a fire under Clowneys butt. About half way through the 2nd quarter they were showing Clowney on the sideline. I could read his lips and saw him tell another player he was sick. LEAVE JD ALONE !

How many games did you watch this week that every play they had a camera on 1 defensive player. It was crazy how they built him up, then beat him down.
As stated above, if the offense is adjusting to him, then he is doing his job.
Im curious to see how UGA does it. Would you avoid his side? If they do, it makes it easier for USC to stack the other side of the ball.

Hell they might hit each other so hard that the fuse together and form a super player. If Clowney is out of shape and it wasn’t a virus, then that will be exposed early. If he’s playing safe and anticipating the 8 figure bonus in his bank account, that will also be exposed. I hope not, the only people that hurts are his teammates.

Honestly, how much did you know at 20 years old?
It’s unfortunate, but its a tough life lesson to learn. He’s been patted on the back his whole life and for Jesse Palmer and a couple others to slam him like they did just wasn’t right.
We’ll see his real potential in Athens in a few days…
