NICE!!! Sharky I think you may have Joe beat out. He has like 150 rods and even more reels but man yours is organized. Awesome. Joes are all in a little shed I’d say maybe 3X5 area, along with buckets, coolers, boat stuff, nets, gaffs, tackle boxes, and more. I need a bigger house to store all his stuff in. He is actually over running his shed space.

You know you have CFD when you have to repaint a house because of all the rod tip marks in the corners where you prop your rods before and after going on a fishin trip… These marks are in EVERY corner of my house even in the kids rooms.

My kids love to fish too

now thats true cfd there.yee ha.

Nice collection/storage Sharky. Most have a tackle bag or box, not a tackle house.

tackle house…lmao…but its true.holy crap.

Yeah, your right though truthfully how do you expect not to find the weights I left on the dresser, the rigs in the end table cabinet in the living room. The drawer in the kitchen where the pliers go as well as line rolls and weights, and hooks among other things. The tackle boxes piled in the closets, the broken tipped rod in the corner I have been meaning to fix or get fixed. That reel on top of the fridge that needs some adjusting. Oh yeah theres that popping rig hanging from the curio cabinet that was left there when I took it off the rod so it wouldnt hook the back of the couch. What a mess I need to get sorted and clean up before I move.

Oh yeah and don’t forget the pile of saltwater fishing and SC sportsman that are piled in the office (bathroom reading)

But as in most diseases that are “mental” they can be controlled by medication, and since this would be considered a mental disorder it can’t be contagious (well tell the bluetooth people that they all look like schizos talking to themselves), it is typically heredity that drives it and did anyone check to see if it is covered by insurance for treatment?

There is nothing more tranquil than the sea except what lies underneath.

Given the industry I work in, there are more important uses for that medicine than for those with a fishing problem, and the potential side effects outweigh the problem.

As long as it doesn’t take over your life completely (Like video game addicts who ignore work, their wife etc), there isn’t a problem. Most of us here have a significant other who partakes in this pasttime.

Except for me, but my wife still will go to the beach if for no other reason than to get a sun tan

I need to get one of those

I think we need a bigger boat…

sharky… i am having an ambulance on their way to your house right now!

you have a serious conditon of cfd and it is life threatening.

note-while in rehab for cfd, i will be confiscating all of your fishing materials, and you will not get them back

note i cannot spell for my life!

Sharky-

Is this in your house or an outbuilding. I was thinking I needed a “fishing shed” in my backyard. I like the PVC rod holder idea. Is it multilevel?

stickman the building is 12 by 16.i built it myself from stuff left over from a couple of jobs.vynal outside.and vynal in the ceiling.the rod holders are screwed to the wall and ceiling.some are screwed to 2/4 with legs so i can move them to get to the ones behind them.the rest of the building is stacked with tackle bags cast nets and boxes of tackle.i have a different room for the coolers.there is more in the boats and at the condo.i have sold 50-60 combos in the last 2 months.
kut you couldn’t get in there.i have 2 crap eating dogs you wouldn’t stand a chance:wink:.just joking.you could use any of it that you wanted to.

i’ll be sure to bring along my white german shepard and rottweiler sharky…then grab as many rods as i can!

great setup tho…gives me some ideas for me in da future!

so, if everyone from the surf/pier page came to your house and chose one rig they wanted, you would still have plenty of bada** rigs…

my question to you is… in all that mix, how and which one did you pick as your favorite?

kut i can’t say which is a favorite.i have some that’s never been used.if i had to pick for pier it would be the avet.for surf it would be the 2 calcuttas 8ft with tld 15s.stripers on the lake ambasadeur 6000s on 8ft-6 lurher jenson muskie rods.
my 2 dogs are a cockerspaniel and a yorkie.my brother brought his saint bernard to run around in the fence.my 2 muts had him cornered and biting him.he was whining something awful.i have to put them in the pen when he brings him over now.

hahahaha, poor st. i used to have 10 st.'s in my backyard… my dad used to show them… big fricken slobbery dogs, but awesome sogs too… we stick to the the rotty and shepard now

kut you should try buying line for all those set ups.

Sharky take a close up of your floor rod rack if you don’t mind. Might have to try that againt the wall in my garage down there. Thanks. I think you could charge admission to your rod, reel ,and tackle museum.

wait till he figures out how to put wheels under the shed and rig it with a trailer hitch and lights! I bet they never seen anything like that cruise the beach of the outer banks! that would make one heck of a picture.
