Compulsive Fishing Disorder

Got one of those books a few years ago as well, guess it’s time I came out of the closet and admit to being a sufferer of CF/HD as well!!! I never EVER get rid of fishing and hunting gear and constantly am looking at and buying more!! Is there help for us or is this terminal?

There isn't a cure, as a sufferer of CFD, we just want other non-fishing people to understand our plight. And, others with CFD to share their fishing spots. We are here to support you. Thanks for coming out of denial and confessing your CF/HD.

Thanks for the support and kind words regarding my CF/HD. Looking back I guess I’ve been a sufferer of it scince childhood. Maybe more parents want to become aware of the symptoms of it and watch thier kids for symptoms which might include…

Been thinking about all those fish out there that are hungry. Need to go out and feed them. (Don’t pay any attention to that shiny hooky thing, HeHe.)

Steven, from on here, was in the store yesterday and told me about a reel he is looking for. we don’t carry it yet, but it looks like a reel economical package for those that want a whole lot of line on a spinning reel. instead of springing for the big Penn 950, this might just fit the ticket for some out there. the specs are rather impressive. at pushing 460 yds of 20#, (can you imagine how much braid it would hold!), it’s on the top end for line capacity. have not researced prices yet but he said it was very reasonable. thought I’d pass it along and dangle it in front of all us reel junkies:wink:
33#of drag, Diawa rates it at XXH. at $32.95 from BPS:sunglasses:

I only have eyes for my wife.

With all the rain and flooding at my house. I’m about half-tempted to throw a line in the driveway. Might be something there. hehe.

I might have to launch the boat to get the paper, wish I had no wake signs last night.

neighbors got a canoe, could’ve used it last night

we had a car capsized in front of our house last night. was wild to see all of the water that came out of it when the wrecker pulled him out. the water was rolling swift across the street making the perfect situation to test out my fly rod. unfortunately there was too much traffic. i just know there were fish in there:sunglasses:

car capsized, wow, what area do you live in?
