So, Kut, how much was the engagement ring cost ya?

I figure it’s the only thing that you bought that hurt your wallet that you won’t tell us about for fear of her reading over your shoulder

haha, hopefully she don’t secretly read this forum to spy on me… as far as how much this item may have cost for her, i don’t even want tot hink about it. lets just say, i could have bought a new motor for my boat, and i mean a nice motor.

I feel your pain lost out on 2 6.0 wides and a tld25.

Shark rigs?

I was going to use the 6.0 wide as one yes.the tld 25 was so cheap i just through a bid on it for the heck of it.it went for under a 100.the other two for around 65 with shipping.im trying to get my timing down to snipe them at the last second.got my eye on a 9.0 now.ill get one of them eventually.i want to get my heavy stuff outa the way first.im still trying the regular surf stuff to see what works for me.i have a penn and a revelation surf reel need to try out a few more brands.i decided no more cheapo reels for me again.i want good stuff that will last a while.going to gut my garage clear a whole wall to hold fishing gear and related items.

I believe in buying good tackle, and taking care of it. As opposed to cheap stuff, and treating it as disposable.

Tie the line to your girl, and tell her to run. You’ll get a feel for what the clicker sounds like.

haha, indy, the things you must do while waiting to fish, wow

bought a 10ft tsunami trophy series baitcasting surf rod for a 10000 reel.what a awesome rod. cfd…lives:smiley:

Sounds like a nice set up. What is the rod rated for pound class and weight? Have you cast it yet?

just put the 10000 on it and casted it.man,it casts really well with the ambassadeur.it is rated for 20-40lbs and 4-6ozs which is perfect for what i wanted it for.i got around 100 yds on the very first cast.sharky and 12-footer had told me about those rods.awesome…and thanks 12-footer for letting me know where to get it.there are 2 more in stock and im about tempted to go back and get another.it was marked down 3 times to 99.00.sold.

12 footer would know, but i bet it is much more than that regular price.either way im happy.also got a widespool 6/0 senator for the mojo rod.

i also have a line on 3 more 10000 reels.may have 1 for sale if it comes thru.:smiley:these are the awesome ct models(non level wind gold)

Where’d you get the 6/0 wide?

Willy it’s good to see you still have CFD. I mean sorry to hear you had a relapse.

yeah, you know me.i buy alot of stuff.but,i know what i want now.the ambassadeurs are the deal for me.and im really likin the tsunami rods alot.the 6/0 wide i got from moneyman pawn that was virtually new on a senator rod for 150.00.the reel was worth more than that.senator rod is goin to the boy and the reel goes on the big “mojo” rod.next spring with yak im set.oh,i also won a nice 6000 reel for that old garcia rod i bought.nice bait catchin set-up.ive been busy.:smiley:i also have a bid in on a green 6000 swedish made.it goes on and on.ill be back up to 3 nice big rigs and 4 or 5 small rigs by spring.

he was talkin to me kut.i got a 6/0 hlw widespool for the mojo rod.

nice!
