We caught both fish on the incoming tide and both on greenies. We had eels and live whiting also but no takers on that other than a shark. Greenies were hard to come by for us except for at the slack tide. Caught maybe 10 total all day.
The winnin fish put on quite a show, jumped clear out of the water, burned off some skin on my thumb trying to slow it down, broke a rod in the boat, lost a chum container, spilled another, and wound up with my brother laying on it with a towel to get it still.
