Put in around 11:30 today and fished part of the outgoing. The bass were friendly today…and I kept a limit of 19-21 inchers…plus RELEASED</font id=“size6”></font id=“red”> the 28 incher below. I needed fish for a cooking show I’m doing next weekend with Joey Mines (Outdoors with Joey Mines). Caught 10 or so trout, but all were shotSHORT</font id=“size6”></font id=“red”> except for one 15 inch fish. Trout & bass bit mud minnows. Bass also bit VuDu shrimp.
Next thing you know, he’ll be posting some wild tale about a new boat that goes 70 mph in a 3 foot sea. God help us all if its foggy. Jighead, Who is this guy?
That he shot them wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve had to fish with him quite often because Jighead is the only other friend he had. And he moved off because of it. And when he says the fish were “friendly”, simply means that for him to have actually caught that many they were virtually starving to death.
I’ve learned to pay attention to what wildlifesc and captnric say…but I’m somewhat afraid to post a question. However, I would like to know if captnric allows people to shoot trout on his trips and if so, what type gun and ammo does he use?
Heck…he tries to “choot 'em” himself, but can’t hit the broad side of a barn with a sawed off and #8 birdshot. I advise taking a pea"chooter" for Cap’n Rick’s behind. That way maybe he’ll get off it and catch a fish once in a while.
Seen wildlifesic shoot the finger and shoot the moon but shooting trout is new. Time for your annual med adjustment buddy. Tell the doc to be generous.
