What was the score?
All I know is that Carolina won. Haven’t really tried to figure out why or how… just know that Carolina won.
congrats, and enjoy

This is funny
We know that’s not true…I envision phin with paper and stats all over the floor, three black boards with scribbling and obvious eraser marks all over them in his house…"X"s and "O"s moving all around the board with a picture of Dabo hanging nicely framed on the wall in the background.
I might have to bring out my photoshop skills again, LOL.
All I remember is Clemson’s offense sitting on the bench the majority of the game after the 1st quarter was over.
Nothing surprised me except for how well Thompson played. Really surprised how little appreciation the coot fans have for that though. Give Clowney some credit for coming on in the second half, but Thompson and the Carolina offensive line won the game IMO.

Dylan Thompson had an alright game. Our WR’s were wide open most of the time. D.T. missed alot of throws he should have made easy. Underthrew Nick Jones about 4 times. IF he completed the easy passes…then I would say he had a great game.

Mostly agree. I’d give him a B+ (half letter bump for starting in tight spot). He misfired on several easy passes (specifically to Nick), and he put the ball where the db’s got there hands on it way too many times. He played well though, and showed great poise most of the time. The 3rd and 17 draw play was a great effort by him and awful one by their efense. Clowney didn’t just take over in the 2nd half. I believe he had 3 sacks in the first half, or at least 2.
You gonna talk or FISH!
I’m wondering is Dylan didn’t throw some low on purpose. Instead of throw it away, throw it low. One play it would have been a tough pass, he shorted it. It was better than forcing it. Miss that pass and it is a pick 6.

Here we go again…
quote:No...he missed Nick Jones atleast 4 times by just not putting enough on the pass...threw it a foot in front of his feet. No defenders within several yards . Just bad passes.

Knowing and remembering are two different things.
For example, you will remember the coots being SEC and national champions by virtue of their win over UGA earlier this year. You will KNOW that you in fact will be sitting at home this Saturday and have yet to see a BCS bowl game…
Congrats on the second 10 win season for your program. I know it is a major accomplishment when you have been in the mighty SEC for all these years…

oh look Phin took a shot at USC.
best one I’ve heard from a coot fan yet this week (from s4g’s) …
“only reason we still play you is to keep some money in state… like how we play wofford, citadel, etc.”

Even after 4 wins in a row, you continue to prove Clemson’s ownership of you.

Please tell rest of story on how you started conversation with “So what do you think went wrong with clemson on Saturday night?” I told you the truth then you made up all this BS just to argue.
You sounded like one of the clemson radio hosts on 104.9 today that we had “more at bats” than you. LOL!! no, we have the same number of at bats yours were just shorter as you chose to waste them on 3 and outs, interceptions and sacks by Clowney. OOOH!!
Your teams sucks but keep playing quality opponents like us and get out of your Almost College Conference and you will get there one day too. Until then we will keep beating your a$$. You should thank us not be be so sour. We did you a favor Saturday night. Something to build on, a goal to achieve. You did score 17 points the most you have in 4 years. Keep pushing!! Don’t give up.
**For the record. I am not normally this obnoxious but Phin brings this out in me. Not really directed at any of the good people that are Clemson fans. There are alot of those. We shared a great tailgate together. Had fun win or lose
Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!
After 4 wins in a row, the analysts say the rivalry is heating up. When Clemson won four in a row, the rivalry was dead. Living in the past gets you nowhere. A good rivalry is alternating wins and close scores. So . . . the rivalry has been dead the last four years with Carolina owning Clemson and speedy Dabo. They just don’t know what to do or say about it. Playing against weak ACC teams is not making Clemson better except on paper. That said, Carolina will not be the same next year on defense with Swearinger, Holloman, Auguste, Wilson, Taylor and a host of others moving on. A lot of void to fill and Clowney can’t do it on his own so need to pick up some instant playmakers like Gilmore was coming out of college. It will be tougher to excel next year but Spurrier is a game-changing, hands-on coach who is getting 100% out of his players.
Phin, you just have to live and die with Dabo and hold on to the good memories from the past. Saltynuts, you were wrong as usual about what would happen in this game and how good Clemson is against top notch SEC talent.
Dabo just doesn’t know when to shut up!

Phin what was the story about Clemson and their number of wins and it being the first time in 30 years that has happened?
