Elliot is O line coach, and USC only had 72 rushing yards against a 1-AA program. That doesn’t look good on resume.

Sounds like any opportunity for a running back… John Riggins never blamed his line… He carried them with him…

It still hasn't sunk in that S.Carolina(SEC) got man handled by The Citadel(SoCon)

72 rushing yards for S.Carolina.

So, what is your point… Gamecocks don’t live in the present, nor past. We are progressive, and always look to the next fight…

I wish the best for the South Carolina Auburn Tigers…

Sorry, I meant the Bi-Lo Bengals… I get feline’s crossed up, I like dogs…especially my Basset Hound girl Maybelle… She’s purty…

Carolina's legacy. Lol. Winning 5 straight in a rivalry where you have an overall losing record is cool, and to be congratulated. But where has that glorious feat paid off? Not in wins, not in recruiting, not in coaching, not in the health of your program.

Because you are so busy giggling about getting in your little dig, you missed the point. My POINT was not about the 5 wins, it was about how quiet tater fans were during that period. Go back and reread it. I typed this slowly so you’d get it.

Bitter? No, I’m tired of listening to some Sakkerliner fans try to justify what’s happened to their team over the last two seasons. If Spurrier is to receive credit for all that you laud him with, then he should receive equal blame for the sorry state the program is in now. Every loss and that humiliation yesterday should be on his record, instead people are blaming Elliot, that’s hardly fair when he inherited an impossible situation.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I get Clemson hates SOS, so does Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, FSU…

The Spurrier hatred is because of his record. He won, plain and simple…

ha, the Saban and Meyers NC’s and subsequent TV contracts/ESPN lovefest probably did more for the Coots than SOS did.

Their still pissed about 5 in a row…let em have fun

I promise you history will long remember the year Spurrier left USuC, a 3-9 record and a beat down by an FCS school over your pathetic 5 in a row. What you don’t realize is Clemson fans got over it last year, and any lingering fans who gave 2 ****s, has now forgotten about 5 in a row by the time we steam rolled FSU while watching USC implode within.

You got nothing but more tears coming your way Saturday.

With posts like this one there are plenty of tears to go around before Saturday.

It’s really no different than when the taters lost 5 in a row. Y’all were pretty quiet then as well though many of you appear to have forgotten. Ricky’s right, what can a realistic Gamecock say? We suck, no where to go from here but up. Hoping we can land a good coach and he comes in, cleans house and gets back to recruiting.

Beating us next week should make the taters feel like the bully who beat up the nerd. Whooeee, you beat a team the Citadel beat.

It is a little different than we lost 5 in a row. We weren’t near as quiet because we were still winning 9+ games a year except for 2009 when we were 6-7 with a bowl loss and we never lost to a FCS (II-A) school during that streak. So yeah, it is a little different.

Also, it will feel just a good beating USC Saturday as any other win against USC!! You did enjoy the wins against crappy Clemson teams in the past, right? They were few and far between, but you enjoyed them none the less I am sure!!

You may choose to remember it differently but, more than half the taters posting now were nowhere to be found, especially after the 4th and 5th loss. Now it seems taters would rather revel in a crappy Carolina team than revel in the success of their own. Weird.

I prefer the revel in both. And I never shied away from talking smack win or lose.

Not me. I am reveling in the absence of photoshopped BS from 23 and the other coots here mostly- not so much their crappy team.
