Headed down the 22nd-29th. Just wondering how the crabbin and shrimpin were doing. Also, anyone ever reopen the Sunset Grill
Not much luck with crabs last week (which is unusual…usually catch dozens without any problem at the mouth of Big Bay Creek).
I did go out early several times to catch bait with the castnet. I caught plenty of shrimp in the smaller creeks when the tide is below the marsh grass. Some of the shrimp were small, and some were pretty decent size.
Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…
Are there any decent shorebound crabbing places in or near Edisto? Public docks and/or piers etc?
