crabs like brackish water. put your pot or crab net back up in a creek around slack low and you should do ok.
I guess I need to answer your question…I had to move my pot 3 times before I found crabs. It was where two creeks come together. They were small creeks. Lot of fresh water has come down lately so the crabs should be closer to the beach.

Yes, we have been coming to Edisto for years, and have all the spots but just have not heard anyone talking about how the crabbin has been this year. Coming down in few weeks and just lookin for some info. Seems the last couple of years it has been slow. I remember a few years back when they would chase you out of the water especially over around Otter. Thanks again.
