Put in at the marina landing with Nauti-Dawg for a season opener at the Edisto Banks - lines in the water at sunrise - fished the same stretch of the ledge most of the morning - scattered weed and some flying fish and 71/72 degree water. Started getting hits around 7am. Around 9 we had a marlin cruise through the spread. By 1030 had 4 blackfin, 2 dolphin, and nice 60-lb range wahoo. Decided to head back at noon and beat the tournament crowd at the marina. Beautiful day - decent ride on the way out and even better on the way back. Odd thing we saw large flying fish in 40’ of water in sight of land heading in.
