Is anyone catching any blue crabs from the Daniel Island pier? It is a pretty place to go but I didn’t do much with fish or crabs from there last year. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
The fishing isn’t very good, but crabbing is usually decent. I live on DI but have not been there this year yet.
went out today, 3 crabs in 3 hours… no fish…surf fishing is much better IMO
It has been a long time but I used to do some crabbing there. The pier was decent but I had better luck when I went south about 250 yards and caught them in the creek. You can float a cork while you are waiting for the crabs and maybe catch a flounder.
