Daytime Shrimping

Buddy and I have done very well this year with the night shrimping in the harbor, but thought we might try our luck with the daytime deal in Edisto. Anybody give me a rough idea of best times (ie how far before or after low tide) to give it a shot? Also we’ll be coming out of Big Bay Creek…any general areas close to there you’d recommend? Be glad to share a little harbor knowledge for some help. Thanks in advance!

The St Helena sound is good in the day. Look for very silty water.
I’ve seen people set up in the day right near the shore on either side of the S. Edisto. I’d say just look for very very dirty water and give it a try.
