How does it feel to be a fan of the #2 team in the country, with a recent NT and a chance to win another one, and yet be so obsessed with trolling the fans of a lesser-talented in-state school that participates in an irrelevant “rivalry” with you?
Being a Terps fan, I don’t know how it feels to be a fan of the #2 team in the country or a fan of a NT winning college football team but you can bet if I did know how that felt, I wouldn’t be worried with an out of conference irrelevant opponent that I’ve dominated over the history of the two teams playing each other. That’s like cruising the middle schools in your “Free Candy” van looking to pick a fight and then bragging about it. Something you’re trying to tell us, salty?

He put butts in the seats, was a recruiting tool for future prospects, he wasn’t a PIA off the field and he produced on the field. All of this while helping stuff USC’s pockets full of money. The university definitely got the better (more lucrative) end of the deal. Just like Vegas doesn’t build big lavish hotels because the house loses money, universities don’t build facilities and pay millions of dollars per year to coaching staffs if the athletes leaving school were costing them money. Deebo doesn’t owe USC a thing. The best thing USC and their fans could do is thank him for what he’s done for the university and the fanbase and then wish him well on his future. He stands to lose far more than he’ll ever gain by playing in a meaningless bowl game against a meaningless opponent. The potential gain will be exponentially higher if he plays in the Senior Bowl as opposed to the Belk Bowl. The Senior Bowl will be more of an actual job interview since the coaching staffs are comprised of NFL coaches.

Deebo owes Scar nothing… Facts are Deebo is schedule to graduate today, and won’t even be an active student on the date of the bowl game… Even if this wasn’t true, he still owes them nothing… Reality is most players are on a “lifetime” scholarship… Many players return after leaving early before graduating, and come back years/decades later to finish their degrees under their original scholarship…

Nope, I am an old school ND fan since the Joe Montana days… I have a signed letter from Dan Devine he wrote me in 1979 responding to my request of what the process was to play football there… I was in the 5th grade, but he did write me back… Every time I see him portrayed as a bad guy in the movie Rudy; I think about his letter, and how he took the time to write a 5th grader back from South Carolina…
