Try posting something useful or interesting every once in a while instead of childish crap like this. Your entire repertoire is limited exclusively to anti-Carolina crap. The Gamecocks must really occupy a large part of that small brain.

Nope, but Dabo does seem scared of playing additional top level competition which is obviously outside the ACC…
For the record, it’s spelled Deebo, but I reckon you got Dabo on the brain…

Don’t blame Deebo at all, no need to risk injury in a meaningless bowl game that could cost him millions.
And why would Dabo be in favor of expanding the playoffs, he’s been in it 4/5 years. Guess Saban is scared too. Expand it to 8, then #9 can get their feelings hurt too.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I guess these guys are scared as well:
Minnesota offensive tackle Donnell Greene
North Carolina State wide receiver Kelvin Harmon,
Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry,
Houston defensive lineman Ed Oliver,
Michigan defensive lineman Rashan Gary,
LSU cornerback Greedy Williams,
Iowa tight end Noah Fant,
North Carolina State linebacker Germaine Pratt
Oklahoma State running back Justice Hill.

I hear others saying “have fun in your meaningless bowl game.” Good times

Saban has a legitimate reason to not want to expand the playoffs as the SEC dominates, why want more competition. Unlike Clem and Dabo who play in a conference where the opposing division champion isn’t ranked. The only P5 conference championship game with an unranked team “competing” for the title…

Wait until next year, got it. Or the next, or two years from now. It’ll be 10 straight at least before Clemson drops one to the Chickens. But keep up the optimism, it makes it more fun for us Tiger fans. Does the new coaching search get underway after 6 happens or do they plan on letting Mousedump get to 7 first?
Deebo’s followed some good advice, no need to risk an injury for a gift card to Belk and a free meal or two at the WH.

I have no issue with Deebo especially since he has had a hard time staying healthy and this was his only full year… That was/is the main concern with the NFL is durability…
Anyhoo, right now SCar and Clem are equals at 5-5 over the last ten years, and those are just unbiased facts…

Congrats, the gap isn’t closing but keep telling yourself it is. Fact is the talent gap is still growing but hey the 10yr record is even, why’d you stop at 10 though. Why not 15, 20, 25 etc.?

I think Salty is a little confused as to whom is butt hurt in this thread.
After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.
From the player perspective I do not blame Deebo. but from a school perspective I would not be happy. You were given a scholarship to play football, if healthy. You have decided not to fulfill that contract. I think he should be made to pay back the cost of the scholarship.
Again, I dont blame him, but actions have consequences. and the cost versus what he will make in the NFL is pennies.

I agree!! That and leaving early for the NFL. You accepted a scholarship to play football for XXXXXXX University, they help you develop and you leave early for the draft. Shouldn’t happen.
One Simple Thanks!!

Kid has more than paid for his scholarship through the butts he put in seats, the injuries he’s sustained and the time he’s invested in a very poor team over his years. The young man has a bright future ahead, why would he risk injury for a game that has zero meaning or bearing on a season. Bowl games like that a glorified practices for coaches. Deebo doesn’t owe 5akkerliner **** anymore.

People saying payback the scholarship need to realize bowl games have not by ing to do qorh scholarships.

Clearly! LOL!!!
Fishb8, does that “contract” you speak of pertain to meaningless bowl games? Deebo has more than “fulfilled” his “contract” to USC. He put butts in the seats, was a recruiting tool for future prospects, he wasn’t a PIA off the field and he produced on the field. All of this while helping stuff USC’s pockets full of money. The university definitely got the better (more lucrative) end of the deal. Just like Vegas doesn’t build big lavish hotels because the house loses money, universities don’t build facilities and pay millions of dollars per year to coaching staffs if the athletes leaving school were costing them money. Deebo doesn’t owe USC a thing. The best thing USC and their fans could do is thank him for what he’s done for the university and the fanbase and then wish him well on his future. He stands to lose far more than he’ll ever gain by playing in a meaningless bowl game against a meaningless opponent. The potential gain will be exponentially higher if he plays in the Senior Bowl as opposed to the Belk Bowl. The Senior Bowl will be more of an actual job interview since the coaching staffs are comprised of NFL coaches.
I get the frustration from a fan’s perspective wanting to see him play for your team in their bowl game but I completely understand and agree with his decision to make his NFL future a priority. Again, he doesn’t owe USC a thing.
