Saw a nice forecast, so gave it one last try for 2023.
Weatherman said 1.6 x 13 but it was more like 2x6, so my plans to run to the 60 were dashed.
Camped out at the 40 and caught 35 BSBs and 1 Grunt while dealing with an aggressive current.
Water temp was 52 degrees.

It was super calm inshore, so calm we almost made the first reef run of the winter… glad we didn’t now, especially in the smaller boat.
