Does anyone do any deep hole shrimping around Edisto? Any good areas? St. Helena sound? North Edisto River? Any advice would be appreciated. Coming for a week in June and looking to catch a few shrimp. Thank you
I’ve tried it with little success. Need an expert to show me. One of my first experiences was when I found a 30’ hole had a lot of “stuff” in it. Looked like shrimp to me on the ff. I threw my taped net perfectly over the hole. When I got it boatside, there were about a hundred pinfish stuck in the net just past their gills. Took me 30 minutes to clear the net. I packed up and went back the house.
We went to a spot last Sunday…there were 3 other boats and they were picking up a few shrimp per cast. We got nothing. WTH.
