Delete A Post?

Hey guys, off-topic from our Brown fish…

Doesn’t anybody know how to delete an old post that you created?

Open your own post and look at the header above the msg box. The line where it says you can edit it and add quotes and such. At the end of the line there is a little trash can. Click on that and then put in your password and click delete.

Well… I guess I meant the entire post, not just a comment. Any ideas?

Like I said. Open our first post under that topic and look above the first line of what you posted. There should be a bunch of icons that you use to change of modify it. On the far right or the last icon is a little trash can! Click on that.

Only Andy (webmaster/administrator) can delete an entire thread. You can only delete your own posts.

Good! Not good that it’s the only way… But good that I’m not an idiot. I was looking everywhere for this Mythical trash can! Thanks guys.

If you want to get the whole thread deleted just start cursing and saying really nasty stuff on it and POOF, it will disappear:imp:
Try it and see:smiley:It will disappear so fast you’ll wonder where it went and be left scratching your head!

If somebody replied to it you can’t delete it, if you stated the topic. If you replied you can edit or delete your reply, trash can is with icons on top of your text box

Haha yea I emailed the webmaster and he took care of it for me. Appreciate all the input!
