Did Dabo run the score up

Lucky was when fsu turned the ball over instead of taking the lead. Lucky was pulling away from Boston college after being tied in the 4th. Orange glasses not showing that?

That was Adam Choice there wasn’t it Salty.

Fritz, I would love to hear your interpretation of how Van’s int was lucky.

In Salty speak I would say it was lucky he caught the pass for an INT instead of the FSU guy catching it for a TD

Clemson turned the ball over and gave FSU a gift, FSU just gave it back, Smith baited him well. Clemson turned it on and scored, twice. Laughable y’all are crying about the Tigers scoring late in a game. Last time I checked there were 4 quarters to a game. I guess Clemson should have taken a knee 3X after Smith’s INT and punted. No sense in scoring more points on poor FSU. We could call that Democratball.

Etienne had a couple of big runs to move the chains if I’m not mistaken. Choice made some plays too. Heck, they rotate those guys so much it’s hard to keep up at times. Feaster and Etienne seem to be the feature backs now.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I’m guessing you missed the sarcasm in the use of “” on the lucky part. Clemson played as horribly as I’ve seen in 4 or 5 years.

It’s all good though. SC winning helps the SOS this year instead of hurting it. Hopefully we don’t need that PK to do more than kick 7 or 8 extra points. He’s pretty good at those. Or will we have another thread crying about running up the score if he does?

Scoring late in the game to seal a victory is one thing, running a play with 30 seconds left when the other team had given up was classless. Take a knee, run out and shake hands with Jimbo and then go cry for the camera.

So it doesn’t matter that the FSU guy never had a chance? Blackman’s throwing motion was disrupted by Bryant so he threw a wobbling floater. Clemson got the read and made the catch. It was going for the dirt before FSU could have had it. But I guess all that was luck.

What about running a play with :09 left when up 51-14?

Can you sit here and say that the Gamecocks have never run a running play to run out the clock with the game in hand in the final sec.? It’s not like we were on the goal line. Or calling time outs and throwing the ball. It was

you can make all the snide comments you want about past history. What Datboy did to Jimbo was classless. End of story.

Now, those are wins no doubt because the only thing that matters is the score at the end of the game. Sakkerliner has been very fortunate this year and has far exceeded most anyone’s expectations, I think the majority of the fan-base would agree on that. I think they’ve played with guts most of the year and overcome some big odds after losing Samuel for the year. That young man is a player and fun to watch. I tried to watch some of the UF game but (**(), that was awful, just more awful for Florida who all but quit weeks ago. Of course, you’d hope they would win some playing in the worst division in the Power 5.

For Clemson, I can think of one lucky game, and it was bad luck from the opening kickoff. That was Syracuse and lets face it, they just stunk that game. I’d say they won the rest. Defense stepped up at NCSt. and last week against FSU. They manhandled VT, GT, UL and AU. So, tell me where there is an “Lucky” win? I clearly see an “unlucky” ugly loss to a team they should have beaten soundly no matter who the QB is. Hats off to Syracuse for getting it done. As for a possible lucky win for Clemson this season, that’ll come if the PK makes a last second FG to beat a team that is longer than 20yds. If Clemson has to rely on a FG to win a game, my guess is they lose it.

Right now, they aren’t playing with the intensity they started the season with for sure. The defense is a list of the walking wounded but, some players should be getting back to ready to go. Bryant started the year off hot and was hitting passes that he just can’t seem to make right now and his receivers are dropping some balls they should catch. I was pretty dismayed that they were put in the #2 slot last night, I don’t particular

^^^^^^^^^^^^^What he said.

Thank for the lesson BS, you’re now my idol on objectivity and football analysis. I sure hope Clemson doesn’t beat them by 49 again this year, my objectivity might be questioned, might get accused of running up the score and being unnecessarily mean to the poor chicken fans.

Maybe we should all get together and have a group hug and general discussion over latte and scones on the finer points of a football contest like proper metrosexuals instead of talking **** and giving each other hell over our respective football teams. At least a thread in this forum finally has a pulse this year.

Well at least you didn’t resort to childish sarcasm to rebut facts. I’m sure you’re a role model for Clemson fans the world over. You stay classy, salt.

To stay on topic, I don’t think it should be the offensive team’s responsibility to stop themselves from scoring. That’s why the other team is allowed to have a defense.

God bless the “ignore” function.

It was only classless because it wasn’t his favorite team doing it. And, Frosty started this thread asking a rhetorical question and then decided to end it by bloviating his own opinion as if were an actual fact.

I miss this sort of thread so much.
