What was suppose to be a nice day on Edisto, turned into a wet mess. My wife hollers at me early Sunday morning " Honey we have no water pressure" as I am strolling into the bathroom. " what time are we heading to Edisto comes next ? " I am thinking to myself as I look out the window why is she asking about Edisto it is pouring outside. So I holler back we cant go to the beach its pouring, her reply the suns out stupid then it hits me that noise and water dripping from the window = remodeling job hic-cup. So you guys can imagine the rest. MattR I apologize but I guess it will be next Saturday before you see that Anchor
Could have been worse. We passed two guys in a center console about 50 yards up on a mud flat that was about three feet out of the water and low tide was an hour and a half away! The next high tide will be at 11:00 tonight. We asked if they were ok and they said they were, but as we pulled up to Dawhoo landing the fire dept. showed up and said they were sending a rescue boat to go get them. I told them they needed an airboat. I hope they get their boat back with this line of storms moving through tonight.
That could have turned out real bad. Not this past weekend but the previous one on our way back from out first trip to the surf at Botany as we were leaving the island we passed numerous EMS , Fire trucks, Rescue and police all total probably 10 emergency vehicles and responders. Does anybody know what was going on and was everybody okay ?

That was about the same time the clerk at D&V got shot right there at 17 before you turn. That was a real bad thing. That lady was real nice. I would stop in and get a soda sometimes on my way home in the evenings.
