Dogfish are going nuts at folly pier. I usually don’t target them but it’s nice to have something bend the rod. It’s been nonstop, had to stop half way through this post to reel one in. Fresh cut mullet it’s the ticket.
Smooth dogfish can be a beast to bring off the bottom! They will definitely bend your rod and stretch the mono!

It is on the Naval Weapons Station. Here are the GPS coordinates - 32?55’2"N 79?58’2"W. Pretty sure it is off limits to anyone except active duty NWS personnel. Since I am not, someone else can probably provide more recent information about this spot.
It’s on joint base charleston. You have to have access to the base.
Do you buy the mullet from the pier or from somewhere else
