The tuna weren’t having it the other day so we decided to jig for bo-bo’s. This was one of note. Many other pigs came over the rail as well.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

My guess is 75lbs without the worms. 85lbs with.
The largest AJ I’ve killed(was dead at boatside or I would have released it) and weighed was 89.5# on DNR’s scale after 24 hours on ice. This fish was similar in size. We had atleast 6 fish over 50# and 2 others that were over 70 for sure. Most of these big ones are breeding females from what I understand, they were all released with nothing more than a bruised ego.
that’s awesome! i love catching jacks… such strong beasts
Is that “Edisto Fisher” back there?

Lots of fun catching them while waiting for other critters.
SJ: I’ve heard them referred to as Golden Grouper while being filleted by a mate near Red’s Ice House - I like bronze fin tuna better!
good lord.
Wow.

Don’t remember. Although they respond to most jigs the best are pink, yellow and silver. The longer jigs work best.
Thats’ a beast! Better catching something than not catching at all!
