I believe ya northchucky, a 5lb flounder 23.5" won the last tournament they had a few weeks ago

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

I was there when the one was caught on Saturday with live mullet. That thing was big and beautiful and the boy scouts that were participating in the tournament that day got a big kick out of it.

no pics it didnt happen

pics or not, any idea what bait/rig set up was used? I’m thinking of hitting it tomorrow. Fished folly pier last night and saw a few 3 ft blacktips come up. I myself caught a nice sized skate, gave it to the old asian couple fishing next to me, wished I had kept it when I got home to and empty skillet…

the flounder was in the post and courier if you must have a picture… same dude caught a 7 pounder last week

live finger mullet fished on the bottom. either a carolina rig or on a jighead works. fish slow and steady. be patient
