Drop off on defense

Bhhhaaaahhhhwwwaaaawwwwaaaahhhhwwwww…

568 yards in offense and 36 points for the L…

The L owned the Tater defense in the second half…

I mean come on, the L is still just and ACC team…

Owning one is beating them, the receiver for Louisville wasn't hungry on their last play on offense, extremely pitiful to not try harder for that 1st down. Clemson beat them.

We are talking defense, not the game outcome… The L owned the Tater defense by 36 points…

Take a look at the stats:

Especially, the time of possession…

Dabo and any reasonable person knows the Taters were lucky to get out with a win…

pffft, the Clemson D held them for the win, they owned em Bo.

It shouldn’t have even been that close, Louisville was lucky they weren’t down 2 more TD’s early, fluke interceptions.

Call it what you want, Clemson won and is still undefeated, owned or not.

Isn’t it against Tater rules to be a Progressive?

During the 2nd half several tater fans on social media were asking for Watson to be benched for his poor play. Talk about bandwagon fans.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

Wow, there are always dumbass bandwagon fans when you have a good team. I saw receivers that couldn’t catch and every stupid little thing that could go Louisville’s way, went their way. If not for the 2 assinine turnovers in the 3rd quarter, that was a blowout. How much better is one team than the other if they can survive 5 turnovers and still win…

Fellows, the chicken fans are right, Clemson got lucky again, the 19th straight time at home, against a top 10 team w/ the hottest QB in the nation. It’s just pure luck they keep on winning. Heck, they’ve only won something like 21-22 straight regular season games, your team sucks when that’s all they can manage.

Congrats to Sakkerliner though for not getting blown out at home. In a couple of years you might be back in Shreveport but, I doubt it.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

It was a nail biter in Tiger Town last night. Too many turnovers on our part. Defense was gassed at the end of the 3rd quarter and still kept going.

Every quarter there was a noticeable momentum shift and end the end, the only numbers that matter are the final score.

Boat drinks, Waitress I need 2 more boat drinks!

One thing that was determined last night is who the best quarterback and player in the country is so far this season…

295 yds passing, 162 rushing, and 3 TDs. Not too shabby for LJ considering the slow start and playing on the road…

The Taters better man up when they start playing the big boyz like Bama and OSU, or they will see the NC opportunity fade away again this year… Based on the way they are playing right now, it looks like last year may have been their best opportunity to win it for a long time… We’ll see, as they are undefeated with a weak schedule going forward until the playoffs…

Another thing that was determined last night, Clemson beat a higher ranked team, with the best QB in the country.

If you take rankings seriously at this point in the season, then yes, they did… When was the last time the Taters beat a number #1 ranked team at any point in the season?

Don’t know, never said #1, higher ranked is who they beat.

I do know that recruits invited to Death Valley enjoy watching the excitement, and want to be a part of that winning atmosphere. Cant really say that at all for the University of Darla Moore, in Columbia, SC.

Never is the answer. Even in 1981 when the Taters finished #1 they beat a #4 team…

If the litmus test for greatness is beating higher ranked teams… then SCar will be great at least 3 to 5 five times this season…

I reckon Boulware is training for the WWE in the event he doesn’t go to the NFL, or busts like many other Taters…

Just another penalty call that was missed that could have changed the outcome…

Losing conference games at home doesn't help for potential recruits. The punter having more passing yards than the starting QB doesn't help for interested recruits, can you say B Mac?

UMass and Western Carolina?

I agree if the program has a coach that’s been around for a while.

The stud recruits want to play immediately, and having opportunities to do so are usually more important… Players are just different these days… For instance, the Clemson football facility… It has a freaking nap room… Back in the day you would have gotten your ass kicked for taking a nap… Bear Bryant and the Junction Boyz is what football once was and now it is about nap time and laser tag… Point being, it is a different perspective from the recruits…
