Reader’s father died last summer, he’s taken that hard. Family issues and the loss of a close friend are what he’s supposedly dealing with at this time. It’s not addiction, legal trouble or anything of the sort. Two deaths of people very close to him and impacts on his family, sometimes football isn’t that important. Y’all are seeing boogeymen where there aren’t any, he’ll be back soon.

Even if the person requests that details not be revealed? Just asking. We have become a society where we think we are entitled to know the details of someone’s personal life, when in fact we are not. We should be ok with “he is taking time off to deal with personal issues” while not feeling cheated that we don’t know the exact details. IMO, if we feel like we need to know the details of another person’s life, then we don’t have enough constructive things going on in our own lives!! Reality tv has ruined this society’s compass!!
