EAGLE VS. OSPREY - UDC - 6/3/13

We pulled out from the Marina and saw an osprey grab a fish. An immature eagle attacked him, making him drop the fish. The eagle grabbed the fish, the osprey attacked the eagle and made him drop it. And a pelican won the battle.
Michael caught this nice Red. then we dropped out and caught a mess of Whiting for Supper, and released several small Sharks.

Those Osprey are the best fishermen on the water and the eagles know it. Saw this one with a catch when we were fishing down there in May.

Saw the same thing off shore years ago! Wish I had a video camera at the time! Glad some one else got to see this.
