Easter?

Anybody fishing Easter weekend? I’ll be hitting the surf around the 2700 block Fri. afternoon and most of the day Sat. if anyone wants to drop by. Don’t know if there’ll be anything to catch but I’ll be glad to get back to the beach for a long weekend:wink:

If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day.
If you teach a man to fish he will spend all of his money on tackle and go hungry.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Hey, that’s my block!! LOL.

I may be down there on Saturday (briefly). I’ll say hello if I see you on the beach fishing.

Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…

I’ll try and save some fish for ya’

Hi guys,

First post…just registered. I’ll be on Edisto next week also. Staying at Ocean Ridge. I plan on bringing a couple of rods and reels with me and will be doing some surf fishing and maybe a short inshore charter. Went out last year with my 7 yr old son and caught some small black sea bass with Jeremy from Edisto Watersports. Had a great time but I hate to think what those bass cost per pound. [:0] We fished in the river for reds first but didn’t do any good. I’ve been reading some of the posts here and hope to catch more than horseshoe crabs off the beach this year. Maybe I’ll see you around.

Tight lines boys.

Skibum, welcome to the forum and welcome back to Edisto. Once you get Edisto in your blood, it is hard to get it out.

Life is not measured by how many breaths you take, but how many times something in your life takes your breath away.

Amen to that! I’ve only been coming to Edisto since my in-laws moved there a couple years ago and now I get cranky if it’s been more than a month between trips

If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you.

I’ve only been down three times. My folks had a timeshare at Ocean Ridge for years and my sister and I ended up with it after my dad passed away. My family (wife and two boys) and my sister plan on coming down for a week each year in the future. It might get tough, though, because my kids have to be taken out of school for the week we have the condo for. It’s not too bad now because they’re 8 and 10 but I can see it being a problem as they get older and school gets tougher. School first…play second. I’ll enjoy it while I can.

I’ll be the middle-aged guy getting spooled, bait clicker screaming, while asleep in the beach chair.
