we could not believe edisro marinia would not let us use the dock even to run up and get a menu
$$$$$. That sucks. I was in harbor town this week and the guy even told me that I didn’t need to hail them on the radio just pull up and he would fit us in. That was a pleasant surprise. Chalk one up for going back to Hilton head.
While the Marina and restaurant owners work well together the marina cannot let someone tie up the limited fuel dock space they have to go to the restaurant esp on/around the week of the 4th
They will get you a menu to look at and place a “to go” order. Then you can pull out and they will call you when your order is ready. Pull up and ask for Tim and he will get you squared away. Unfortunately, you are right about tying up there. Fuel dock is just that.

Surely they have an empty slip. Turning away customers is never good business. Why have a restaurant attached to a marina if there is no boat access. That makes zero sense.
Big Wave Dave- unless the restaurant has changed hands you didn’t miss much. Go on down the creek to the other restaurants
Bohicket Marina is the same way. No room for docking your boat while eating at a restaurant.
Are there any restaurants with docks on N. Edisto River or Bohicket Creek?
Bohicket will let you dock on the outside slips. Just call. We do it every year to go eat.

We went up the creek to Edisto watersport and the owner had no problem with us docking and eating next door. I will get gas there from now on.
From my years of experience - The personnel at the Edisto marina have never been helpful or nice… I only go there when I have too.

The ownership at the marina changed a couple of years ago and there has been a vast improvement since then. What makes things difficult for the marina and allowing people to stop for lunch is all the slips are privately owned so they can’t tell you to just pull into a empty slip. Also Presley’s does a great job on their food.
