edisto 4/26

Fished edisto with family and some friends yesterday afternoon. Was pretty windy and a little rough at first spot so we moved down closer to sound area. Action was pretty slow. We landed 3 nice bluefish, 2 whiting, 2 large stingrays, 1 horseshoe crab, and 1 shark. Shark and rays were caught on cut whiting. Not sure species of shark, about 3’ in length. Thinking possibly sandbar. Fairly light in color with no distinct markings.

Sounds like pretty good trip. I had to go out of town . Sandbar or Finetooth. If you check for an interdorsal ridge, Sandbars got it Fine tooth don’t. The smaller ones sometimes look similar. Also Sandbars upper teeth are typical looking shark teeth, Fine tooth’s are, well…fine  Nice one!
