We received several calls about the Edisto A can missing, so did a little digging and the buoy was removed October 2011 and will not be replaced.
The statement about the buoy was “it marked the entrance to 2 minor inlets and was deemed unnecessary”
what about the 4 unlit buoys and 2 offstation buoys on the beauort river.
you get me lat/long or the buoy number from the light list and I can find out whats what
