I usually throw a cast net for bait at steamboat landing when I’m down for my week Vaca in may. The kids love catching blue crab there as well. I heard that it is closed for a few months? Surely there are some more spots to catch some mullet, shrimp and a few crabs?

Also I have read that you have to be careful walking to Jeremy inlet at high tide since the hurricanes? Is that still the case or has there been some beach replenishment or what’s the deal?

We are staying at Edisto State Park from the 8th to the 16th. I will be on the beach every day. Where and when are you going?

May 19-26 we are down on the front beach somewhere just south of Edisto realty… Just missed each other
