Went shark fishing Saturday with my sister and took one of her friends along, was a very productive day:smiley: Left for the beach at around 6:00am Saturday morning, set up on beach access #12, caught a couple of whiting withing 10 mins and talked them out on the shark rods caught 4 sharp noses within all about an hour apart, was the first shark for my sisters friend so he was super excited! Around lunch time ran out of whiting and couldn’t get them to bite so I went to get lunch and grab some bait, being curious I grabbed some frozen medium ballyhoo and yakked one out and with in 10 mins the reel starts screaming! Once again another first fish for her friend and it was a spot tail that measured at 34 3/4" and happened to be tagged, took a couple quick pics, measured, took the tag i.d. And released her. Moved a little further down the beach and caught some whiting and put them on shark rods and 10 mins later… Another screaming reel:smiley:which was a little 3’ black tip, not even 5 mins after releasing that bt another reel goes off and we ended the day with a 3 1/2’ sand bar shark which is now my sisters best, all in all was a great day!
